It has been a fruitful 2022 in spite of the economic crisis and other obstacles that were brought our way. By God’s grace, Menschville and KOOSJ still continue to serve the marginalized families wherever the Lord calls. We pray and hope that His Word remains to be the light unto our path as we continue to serve Him by loving His people.

  2. Create an architectural plan for the future Center in Quibongbongan, Guinobatan Albay. (ongoing)
  3. Support English Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. (completed)
  4. Support ministry to the marginalized families in Cambodia. (completed)
  5. Support ministry to the marginalized families in Vietnam. (completed)
  6. Reinforce the ministry to the slum kids in Manila. (completed)
  7. Continue support to the orphans of Bangladesh. (postponed due to pandemic)
  8. Levelling up of leaders in Menschville Leadership Center in Bicol Philippines. (ongoing)
  9. Long term ministry in Thailand. (cancelled due to pandemic)
  10. Continue support to the orphanage centers in Myanmar. (postponed due to pandemic)

There were a lot of changes done in 2020 due to the pandemic. We had lots of adjustments done. First is to cancel commitments in the Philippines and some Asian countries. Second, commit more time and resources in Cambodia, where a missionary got stranded. Third, great opportunities also came in the last quarter of 2020 when super typhoon Rolly struck Bicol. We were able to help the victims especially the ones that were left homeless and almost homeless. All in all, 2020 was still fruitful by God’s grace!

This year, we will be more of edifying the ministries started in the past years, especially in the Philippines, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sabah. KOOSJ, while partnering with Menschville, has been supporting a number of orphanages and marginalized kids’ groups since 2013 namely:

We aim to reach out to more kids in Asia. In God’s will and time, we will be supporting them through education as well for longer term.

From 2014-2017, Menschville was in 20 cities in Asia – Legazpi (PH), Baguio (PH), Cebu (PH), Tacloban (PH), Tagbilaran (PH), Manila (PH), Yangon (Myanmar), Lashio (Myanmar), Myitkyina (Myanmar), Nankan (Myanmar), KK-Keningau-Sandakan (East Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Nepal, Solo (Indonesia), and Dhaka-Gopalgonj-Khulna (Bangladesh) [See pictures here]. We are so thankful for KOOSJ for being a major partner so we can excellently render our function in the body of Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus has specific plans this year and we desire that we will continue to come together in the pursuit of joining Him in what He is doing in the world.

2016 Goals (Review)

  1. Set an educational system for street kids and acquire a mini bus for the Mobile School that will accommodate them. (Almost half way accomplished)
  2. Visit Myanmar, Nepal, India, and Bangladesh to minister to the Asian Kids.(Only Bangladesh was visited)
  3. Spearhead Youth Camp on Summer (cancelled)
  4. Conduct a Leadership Camp on December (accomplished but not in the form of encampment)
  5. Raise up 10 New Committed MKs to lead (accomplished)

2016 Accomplishments (Review)

  1. Ministered to 100 kids in the Bicol region of the Philippines (feeding and providing school supplies). These kids are in the marginalized group.
  2. Visited Bangladesh and ministered to 500 orphans, prostituted, and homeless kids. (feeding and providing school supplies). Also sent financial support for the kids in Dhaka c/o Ps. Ratna.
  3. Supported Vacation Bible school in Albay. (school supplies, chairs)
  4. Mobile School raised funds: 1000USD. Target is at least 150,000 Php (3260USD) Goods are also accumulated from donations like books, livelihood raw materials, school supplies.
  1. Sent a missionary to Sabah Malaysia to provide foods, slippers, and school supplies to undocumented kids, whom we are keeping details confidential.
  2. Visited street kids in Cebu and Bohol and provided foods and school supplies.
  3. Visited impoverished kids in the Smokey Mountain, Tondo, Manila and provided budget for their water tank. These kids are extremely underweight and have water shortage, letting them take shower shockingly once a week.

2017 VISION (review)

  1. Visit and minister to the street kids in the following areas in the Philippines:
    1. Cebu
    2. Bohol
    3. Abra
    4. Benguet
    5. Sorsogon
    6. Camarines Sur
    7. Legazpi
  2. Visit and minister to the child laborers and war victims in the following areas in Myanmar:
    1. Yangon
    2. Myitkyina
  3. Visit Myanmar for “water testing”, this is for the possible satellite ministry site so we can have long term access to the war victims and child laborers.
  4. Medical mission in the mountain ministries and city, providing the following services:
    1. Basic checkups (blood pressure, glucose level, etc.)
    2. Dental services
    3. Optical services
  5. Raise 100,000Php additional for the Mobile school project.
  6. Startup for a small pre-school center at JDC to accommodate Street kids and child laborers in LEGAZPI CITY.
  7. Visit undocumented kids and families in Sabah Malaysia and setup a ministry that will be responsible for some of their basic needs (i.e. schooling, spiritual, and counseling)
  8. Send financial assistance to missions to marginalized children in the following Asian countries:
    1. Myanmar
    2. Malaysia
    3. Nepal
    4. Tibet
    5. Indonesia
  9. Reach out to one African ministry (CONGO) by sending financial help.
  10. Empower the existing Menschville ministries: Bicol kids and Central Visayas Kids
